The School Day

The gates open at 8:40am for children to enter school. All children should be in classrooms ready for their register at 8:50am.

In the afternoon, the gates open at 3:15pm ready for children to be collected. They close at 3:25pm to keep the site secure for after-school clubs.

The compulsory school week is 32 hours and 5 minutes.  From April 15th 2024, the school day will increase to a finish time of 3.20pm.

Teachers will greet children at the classroom door. Sometimes children need to be collected for appointments during the school day. In such cases, they must be signed out, and back in, at the school office.

We believe regular attendance and punctuality are crucial to success. If your child is unwell, please inform the school office on the first morning of their absence.
